Suad Shamsideen - Lead Youth Worker (she/her)

Suad started her journey with WYC in February 2024. She joined with extensive experience within youth work and has hit the ground running. Suad believes in a hands-on approach to being a Youth Worker. She is keen on getting involved, taking part in sessions and being unapologetically herself in order to encourage the youth to embrace their own identities and grow. Suad brings with her a relentlessly positive attitude, high energy and her own unique twist to being a Youth Worker.

He brings high energy; enthusiasm and the young people enjoy engaging with him.

Shanie Noakes - Sessional Youth Worker (she/her)

Shanie is a qualified primary school teacher who joined the team in 2024, looking for new challenges with an older cohort! Diagnosed with ADHD as an adult, she is particularly interested in supporting neurodivergent young people, or those with additional needs. Outside of the Centre, she enjoys being creative and has recently set up her own children's arts and crafts business, that runs at the Centre on weekends. She is also pretty consistently on the go - either chasing her two rescue dogs through the Chilterns or partaking in aerial sports.
